Today’s workout started out with my Garmin half marathon training run. Today’s prescribed run was a 10 minute brisk walk followed by 21 minutes of interval running. I have been running in my neighborhood which is littered with hills, causing my times to be inconsistent, yet making for a challenging run!
After giving myself about an hour to recover from my run, I went into the garage to play with my barbell. The Crossfit Open starts in less than two weeks and I haven’t touched a barbell in about double that amount of time. Gerrit was planning to do a snatch and sprint ladder, so I decided to do something similar. I was over running at that point, so I did a squat snatch & overhead squat ladder instead. My hands are now raw because I haven’t gripped a barbell like that in forever.
